AVEL’s new disinfectant: a contribution during the Covid-19 crisis

The Covid-19 crisis presents a genuine challenge for our society and economy. During these difficult times the cooperation of everyone is required to protect our lives and health.

Due to the global shortage of disinfectant caused by the pandemic, Avel the mother company of Saphir has decided in March to use its laboratory and production facilities to supply the region of Charente where we are based with free sanitiser.

Together with the help of other regional companies that supplied the raw materials we were able to provide in total 10’000 litres of disinfectant to hospitals, retirement homes, doctors and nurses, firemen, the police and also to local shops that remained open like bakeries and supermarkets.

With the help of our supporters we were able to stop the shortage in the Charente region and have become the main supplier for disinfectant during the crisis.

We have now started to add our disinfectant that is produced to WHO standards to our product range.

Available in a 5 litre container that makes it easy to fill up smaller bottles or sprays, we are happy to be able to supply our customers with a product that is of such great importance at the moment.

It kills germs and viruses everywhere and can be used not only to disinfect your hands but also all surfaces. The container is a very ecologic packaging. It is easily recyclable and contains only little plastic. It is now available to be ordered.
