Saphir Crème Surfine in Black Illuminates the adidas x PHILEO Paris Art Collaboration
An Artistic Encounter Between Heritage and Innovation
At the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and forward-thinking design, Saphir is proud to have taken part in the recent collaboration between adidas and PHILEO. Held from 9th to 13th April at Dover Street Market Paris, the event featured Ballonné, an immersive installation by Lebanese artist Pascal Hachem. The space was transformed into a layered narrative exploring movement, materials, and the poetry of everyday forms.
Launching the adidas EVO SL by PHILEO
Curated by PHILEO and supported by adidas, the project celebrated the exclusive launch of the adidas EVO SL by PHILEO. As part of this boundary-pushing initiative, Saphir’s iconic Crème Surfine in black was specially chosen to customise and elevate the sneakers—bringing depth, texture, and a refined finish to the final product.
The Role of Crème Surfine in the Creative Process
Renowned for its superior formulation and deep, lustrous shine, Crème Surfine played a key role in enhancing the visual and tactile appeal of the footwear. Its use in this context revealed the cream’s remarkable versatility, extending well beyond conventional leather care into the realm of creative expression.
A Tribute to Timeless Craftsmanship
We are truly honoured to see one of our signature products featured in such a meaningful artistic collaboration. This partnership not only underscores the enduring legacy of Saphir’s craftsmanship, but also reinforces our relevance in today’s evolving design landscape—where tradition and innovation meet.
