This vegetable oil cream is specially formulated to clean, nourish, and protect Cordovan leather. It preserves the unique texture of the leather, keeping its pores both closed and dense while maintaining flexibility and a smooth finish.

Apply the cream by gently massaging it into the leather, then use a soft cloth to buff and shine.

More information

Cordovan leather is derived from horses imported from Córdoba in the United States and crossbred with wild horses from the Dakota region. Only the 20 to 22 square decimetres from the back of the hide are used, with the remainder allocated for furniture. The hides are aged for several months in barrels of oil. The natural colour of Cordovan leather is a deep blood red, akin to a very dark burgundy. This exceptionally durable and flexible leather requires regular maintenance to preserve its quality.

Suitable Uses

Suitable for cordovan leather shoes and, for professional use only, can also be applied to bags and other leather goods. Apply a small amount to avoid excess and buff to achieve the desired finish.

Care Instructions

Remove any dust or dirt from the shoe.
Spread the cream on the leather and massage gently.
Let dry 5 minutes.
Polish with a soft cotton cloth.

Advice

Test first on a hidden area.

After applying, let the shoes 24/48h in a bag to avoid any deposit of dust on the fresh oiled leather.
