Created in 1920, Everest® grease has built a strong reputation for protecting mountain boots and leather goods exposed to harsh weather conditions such as snow, water, and dirt. Its exceptional softening and nourishing properties stem from the incorporation of a highly fluid vegetable oil in its formula.

This 100% plant-based product consists entirely of natural ingredients, many of which are commonly used in food and cosmetics. Notably, Everest® grease is safe for contact with human skin. Ingesting the product poses no danger, further demonstrating its gentle nature.

Since its inception, it has been used in the mountains to protect sled dogs' paw pads from ice and snow.

The formula features a complex blend of seven natural ingredients, all derived from fruits or vegetables, including:

Rice wax (extracted from rice grain husks), which offers excellent protective qualities and helps prevent drying (commonly used in lipsticks).
Japanese wax (derived from the berries of Rhus succedanea), known for its superior softening properties.
Very fluid sesame oil, which deeply hydrates the leather dermis and is widely used in cosmetics, particularly in anti-wrinkle skincare.

Suitable Uses

Leather exposed to harsh climatic conditions requires enhanced protection. This product is ideal for the maintenance of trekking and work shoes made from smooth leather, leather, and greasy nubuck.

Care Instructions

Evenly apply the product to the surface using a brush.
Massage the leather to ensure the cream penetrates effectively.
Allow it to dry completely.
Buff the surface using a bristle brush.

Advice

This highly nourishing formula may darken certain leathers, so it is essential to verify compatibility by testing it on an inconspicuous area first.
Treat your smooth leather shoes by applying the product generously to the creases twice a year to prevent cracking.
Renew the application regularly.
